Consultation Process
In addition to the work that Reuters Insight performs pre-consultation to ensure that an expert is appropriate from a topical and expertise perspective, Reuters Insight also performs a series of compliance checks to ensure that the expert is able to participate in the proposed consultations. The compliance checks include:
- Community Agreement—All experts are required to re-affirm their acceptance of the most recent version of the Community Agreement prior to participating in a consulting project.
- Consultation Certification—To ensure that all of our experts have fully processed the contents of the Community Agreement, each is required to complete our multi-step, online Compliance Module in order to formally confirm their understanding and acceptance of these important protocols.
- Verification—Reuters Insight confirms each expert’s profile information pre-consultation to ensure that the appropriate restrictions are applied.
- Restrictions—The consultation topic, client and potential expert are processed through our Restrictions Management system to ensure that all applicable restrictions are enforced.
