Consultations
Generally, Reuters Insight consultations target industry trends, product or drug developments, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies. When a Reuters Insight client requests a professional profile or topic inquiry, we find the most appropriate experts across multiple criteria in our database. As a registered expert, if your background intersects with salient aspects of the project, you may be invited to participate. Participation is always voluntary.
Telephone Consultations and Events: Telephone consultations are typically 30-60 minutes and, if you are selected to participate, you will receive an invitation from Reuters Insight via the communication method you specify proposing several dates and times. Similarly, you may be invited to participate in a Reuters Insight Event, including panel discussions, conferences, group meetings or other consultations. Reuters Insight reimburses all pre-arranged expenses and pays for your time as an expert in our events.
Surveys: Experts may be invited to participate in surveys applicable to areas of expertise. Participation is typically limited to either a pre-determined number of responses or to members who respond within a particular time period. Often a brief screening questionnaire is used to determine the appropriateness of participants.
Compensation/Reimbursement
As a Reuters Insight Expert, you will be compensated for your participation at an hourly rate that you set. Reuters Insight will reimburse expenses incurred on its behalf subject to pre-approval. Rates for events will be determined by Reuters Insight and will be communicated to the experts as part of the invitation.
Surveys: Participation fees for surveys are pre-determined by Reuters Insight and will be communicated at the time the survey is sent.
